Thielbar Runs his Final Cross Country Race
This is exactly how senior Cross Country runner Ean Thielbar likes his races. On November 9, Thielbar competed in his last high school Cross Country meet. The meet was the mother of all cross country courses, the state course. “I usually say ‘there is always something I wish I could have done better’,” Thielbar said, “but I regret nothing about cross country at all, especially this season.”.

It has been seven years since the release of the PlayStation 3 and since then the gaming console world has changed. dramatically. The average gaming console used to be just for gaming, nothing else. In this day and age, consoles are media centers for movies, TV, music, etc. With the PlayStation 4, Sony looks to bring gaming back to its roots with a console built to play games, and boy does this console do a damn good job at playing games.

On Friday April 24, Junior Trey Pettit broke the school shot put record with a shot of 57 feet. “We always knew Trey had the ability to do what he did Friday,” Throwing Coach John Brune said when asked about Trey breaking the record. “He has been working really hard on his technique.”. The Howell North Hockey faced Lutheran South Monday night, at the Rec Plex South. This was the second round of the MSCHA High School Hockey Playoffs. Lutheran South had won the first game 1-4 on Saturday and the Knights faced elimination.

The team has really worked together the past few games with a good balance of play between the players. Varsity Girls Volleyball Season Stats Recap (Infographic)
After a 2-0 win over Fort Zumwalt East at Districts and then a loss 0-2 to Incarnate Word, the Lady Knights Volleyball team conclude their season. Overall, this 2014 campaign by the Lady Knights was brought about by solid offensive play from junior Baylie Clynes (138 points, 256 assists) and sophomore Kate Doerhoff (251 attacks, 130 kills), and a defensive frontline lead by seniors Jessica Allison (61 blocks) and Alexis Harrell (67 blocks).

Boys Varsity Volleyball defeats FZW
The Boys Varsity Volleyball team took home a win Thursday, April 4 in a home game against Fort Zumwalt West. It was a close competition but North came out on top with scores of 25-21 in the first match and 25-23 in the second. “I think it was one of the best games we had so far, just that we all were on and played well hustling and communicating,” senior Jake Tecklenburg, said.

As stated above, I am involved in many things in my life.
I am into coding and working with web technologies and hope to find a future in web technologies.
I am also a Journalistic writer. I love writing opinion pieces and indepth sports stories of any kind.
Running is another bright spot of my life. I run Cross Country and Distance Track for Francis Howell North. That includes running a 5k, 800m, 1600m, 3200m, and the occasional 400m.
Probably the brightest spot of my life would be in my faith. I am a Catholic who goes to the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish and I love everything about it with my you group and the people there.
